A true wonder of poetry and inventiveness, a delightfully rickety show for families to enjoy.

Do you want to be part of those lucky enough to be brought back to their childhood by the colourful magic of those amazing craftsmen/performers?

Former costume designer for big theatre companies, as well as comedian, Elsa De Witte knows her ways with repairing, revamping and the art of upcycling. Laurent Cabrol, who attended the Annie Fratellini school and the Romanès circus, and co-founded the Trottola circus, has kept from all these years a distinct taste for homemade shows at a human scale.

As a family, they tell us about themselves. Bêtes de foire tells their artistic and life journey, where puppeteer mixes with theatre, dance, circus arts and, above all, the magical experience of creating dreamlike shows while working on a shoestring, with next to nothing. With a rare intimacy, they transport us in their colourful and unusual universe, fanciful and full of poetry.

A small physical theatre play that will make a lasting impression.

This show has been performed more than 500 times throughout the world, namely in France, in Portugal, in Spain, in the United Kingdom, in Switzerland, in Czech Republic, in Austria and in Sweden.
